A friend suggested we check this place out. And we are very happy we did. The food was great. I had the meatloaf, which was the best meatloaf I have had at a restaurant. The dinner came with potatoes, cole slaw, and soup. I had the stuff pepper soup, which was delicious. My husband had the chop steak, which he loves. He was worried because the waitress didn't ask how he wanted it cooked, but when he got it, it was perfect. His also came with two sides and a salad. Our friend got Tuscan chicken, and her husband got roast beef dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. The cost was reasonable. Waitress was excellent. If you're in the area, stop by you won't be disappointed. Oh yea, I wanted to try the susage Gravy. Also very good!
When I walked in the environment felt so friendly. I had a waitress name NIKKI and she greeted my family with the friendliness smile. She was amazing, she ask us about our drinks came back with quickly. Then we order our meal definitely came back quick. Everything was fresh and hot. I have no complaints I will recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone to come to. It’s very family oriented also nice and clean atmosphere. I had a seven and two year old with me and Nikki was so kind and nice to them. She even gave them a snack after they finished their meals. I definitely give her 5stars!
Great little local restaurant where you'll see many of the same locals everyday..... The kind of place where you really get your money's worth for good food with large portions and friendly wait staff......
I’m full but I can’t stop eating these fries haha wow that was the best burger I’ve had in a long time ! The servers are super friendly I had Miranda she’s a kinder little soul 3 the vibe is super chill it’s clean and cozy and roomy. I don’t know how much it matters but the bathroom was nice too lol Bacon cheese burger and fries for the WIN even the bacon on the burger was A1 ! Taking the other half Togo that was a big burger lol
We'd been in the area for over 3 weeks and this place had the best service we'd seen so far! Wasn't too busy when we arrived and got given a nice booth. I got the double cheese and bacon burger which was really good! It was massive (will get the single next time!) with 2 big juicy nicely cooked patties, plenty of cheese, tomato and lettuce. Served in a really soft fresh bun (which didn't fall apart while I was eating). And it came with a large portion of really good fries. My wife chose the grilled cheese sandwich, which was simple but in a good way. Lovely greasy bread and plenty of cheese! She chose to get it with the soup but didn't know which flavour to get. The woman serving offered her a small portion of the lemon chicken soup to try while we were waiting for the food to be cooked. Then she came back to check if my wife liked it and to check if she wanted that with her grilled cheese, or the stuffed pepper soup instead. My wife liked the chicken soup, but opted to have the pepper soup with her sandwich (which was amazing, described as deconstructed stuffed pepper and that's exactly what it was!) Then while we were eating the server came to check that she liked the pepper soup, and asked if she wanted any more of the chicken soup instead. The server was so lovely, and even if the food wasn't good, we still might have gone back. But as the food was as good as the service we will definitely visit again next time we're in the area. (Prices were also very good for the sizes of the portions) Thank you for making the end of our vacation so enjoyable!
Went there for the Friday night fish fry. It was one of the best fish fries that we experienced in a long time. The fish was a delicious Basa fillets, either fried or blackened. Best fish fry I've been to in a long time!! Our server Sky, was the greatest. Very friendly and efficient. We definitely will be back.
If you haven't ever dined at the Burger and Pancake House in Palmetto, you're missing out!! This place has everything you could want in a family style restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing and the place is really clean. Just a suggestion but try the corn beef hash, french toast & if you're looking for a sandwich, try the french dip. Oh, if this gives you a hint how great this place is, they know everyone and guests are treated like family and called by their first names.. All restaurants owners out there, you could learn a lot from these guys on how to really do it right.
Linda is exceptionally amazing. Great personality demeanor and always a warm welcome. She's very sweet and kind. Our orders are always perfect, she doesn't miss a beat. So happy we came across this wonderful restaurant. I work in the area and are always satisfied when we dine in. Thank you kindly...
